Last week some f***ing motherf***er stole my credit card (well, only the number), I have talked with my bank and they have told me not to worry, they will refund me all the money (more than €250), but I'm still wondering how could this happen, someone scavenging my wallet, some bug in my computer... it is true that lately I was using MS Windows too much, I need a special software and am too lazy to reboot my computer (I need a lot of resources, so I can't use virtualization), maybe this is some kind of signal, henceforth, I will return to my beloved GNU/Linux :D
For all of you, be very careful with these things, I remember that in the begining I had one special account with one special card for Internet shopping, but as time passed I became more and more confident...it is time to go back some years and remember the safe procedures :P

Another curious thing here (at least for me), are the cards, all of them are chip-card, first days here, when I went to pay with my Spanish swipe card, the shopguy didn't know what was that, he had to call his supervisor to explain how this thing worked. In my first visit to Spain (the happy one), I asked my bank to have one of these cards, and they told me that in some years there will only be chip cards in European Union, and I think, that probably Spain is the only country that is still issuing new swipe cards. So, if you are planning to travel outside of Spain (specially north of Europe), try to get a chip-card, it will be easier for you; and if you are not planning to go anywhere, try to get one also, they are much safer than magnetic ones.

Pues todas mis tarjetas eran magnéticas, di que poquito viejillas... pero espero que ya estén definitivamente repartiendo sólo de las nuevas, es un gran avance.
El número no tengo ni idea de cómo me lo quitaron, pishing definitivamente no fue, sé perfectamente dónde me meto y dónde introduzco mis datos, debe haber sido algún bicho en el equipo... y no soy ningún talibán linuxero, es simplemente experiencia depués de llevar años tratando con sistemas operativos, cada uno tiene sus puntos bueno y malos, Windows está bien para jugar, utilizar el programa súper especial que no puede ser reemplazado por nada y poco más, pero tienes que andar con pies de plomo en cuanto sales de tu entorno controlado conectando, por ejemplo el pendrive de otro usuario (el mal que estuvieron dando con este tema hasta que los señores antivirus se decidieron a detectarlo); en seguridad y estabilidad sigue ganando por goleada GNU/Linux, bien que te puedas pegar todo un mes para que te funcione la dichosa tarjeta de sonido (culpa del fabricante, por cierto), pero es un sistema muy robusto en el cual es MUY difícil hacer nada sin permiso del administrador, y cuando se descubre algún agujero, en unas horillas suele estar arreglado... y BSD es ya la leche (aunque este es todavía mas especialito con sus cosas :P ).
Dándole vueltas a la cabeza pienso que puede que ocurriera la última vez que fui a Zaragoza que tuve que realizar una compra y la hice desde el ordenador familiar (el cual no toco hasta que definitivamente no puede moverse) utilizando esa tarjeta; porque desde el mío de aquí he comprado con todas y (por ahora) sólo he tenido problemas con esa; por si acaso todos los días sigo entrando 2 ó 3 veces a revisar los movimientos de las cuentas y tarjetas (mientras mis bancos/cajas no tomen ejemplo de La Caixa... :S )
